I verified temps and the unit is indeed showing 4 degrees colder than room temp. If screen is blank we have lost power to the thermostat. Check breaker to indoor unit. Old Post, but here is an update - Carrier has release a new firmware 4.23, and they have updated the Home app (at least in Android) and this seems to have resolved the connectivity issue. I can now get a live connection to the thermostat, and changes made on the app reflect on the thermostat almost immediately. Vast improvement. 1. . U 18chan

When I ran the new wire to the infinity control and left off the Wi-Fi for 3-4 months the customer didn’t call with any issues or just ignored them. The Infinity controller would allow for a bit more comfort with the 3 stages of heat and it's dehumidifying capabilities. Also, if your humidifier is currently controlled by the Infinity, you might have to move it to it's own stand alone humidistat and do some re-wiring to make it work..
